Cheska Avery Lynn, Senior Editor (Poetry and Flash Fiction) and Graphic Designer

Cheska Avery Lynn has an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She has work published in QWERTY and SmokeLong Quarterly, among other print and online journals.  She is currently revising a novel.

Melissa Koss, Senior Associate Editor

Melissa Koss has her Master’s in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and is currently working on her first novel (excluding the very charming one she wrote and illustrated at age eight).

Laura McIntyre, Senior Associate Editor

L.J. McIntyre is a literary magpie who is attracted to interesting writing and editing projects. Her work has been performed, published and exhibited in arts venues, museums, festivals, anthologies, magazines and public spaces.

Partners have included Glasgow School of Art, The Museum of Childhood, The Festival of Erotic and The Metro. L.J. is also drawn to collaborations and creating new pieces with illustrators, scientists, artists and fellow writers through 26, The Hunterian Museum, Bristol University, amongst others.

She is a freelance arts practitioner who specialises in arts festivals, having worked across Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, Glasgay! Festival and Merchant City Festival.

Born and bred in the industrial city of Glasgow, rural life called her to live by the sea; on an island and settle in the market town of Kelso, in the Scottish Borders. This is where she lives with her husband, dog and menagerie of small creatures. Ljmcintyre.org

Steve Gronert Ellerhoff, Associate Editor

Steve Gronert Ellerhoff holds a PhD in English from Trinity College Dublin. With Philip Coleman, he co-edited George Saunders: Critical Essays, the first academic volume to be published on the author (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017). He is also the author of Post-Jungian Psychology and the Short Stories of Ray Bradbury and Kurt Vonnegut: Golden Apples of the Monkey House (Routledge, 2016). His fiction, with art by Kevin Storrar, includes the novel Time’s Laughingstocks (2013) and Tales From the Internet (2015). Poetry

Addie Tsai, Senior Associate Editor

Addie Tsai teaches courses in literature, creative writing, and humanities at Houston Community College. She collaborated with Dominic Walsh Dance Theater on Victor Frankenstein and Camille Claudel, among others. Addie received her MFA from Warren Wilson College, and she has a PhD in Dance from Texas Woman’s University. Her queer Asian young adult novel, Dear Twin, is forthcoming. Her writing has been published in Banango Street, The Offing, The Collagist, The Feminist Wire, and elsewhere. She is the Nonfiction Editor at The Grief Diaries, and Senior Associate Editor in Poetry at The Flexible Persona.

Marissa Schwalm, Senior Associate Editor

Marissa Schwalm received her Ph.D. in Creative Writing and English Literature from Binghamton University, and her MFA in Creative Writing from Chatham University. Marissa has been previously published in Reed Magazine, Dallas Review, and Samzidat Literary Review, among others. She currently lives in Charlotte, N.C., and is Assistant Professor of English at Pfeiffer University.
