STEVE GRONERT ELLERHOFF holds a PhD in English from Trinity College Dublin. With Philip Coleman, he co-edited George Saunders: Critical Essays, the first academic volume to be published on the author (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017). He is also the author of Post-Jungian Psychology and the Short Stories of Ray Bradbury and Kurt Vonnegut: Golden Apples of the Monkey House (Routledge, 2016). His own fiction, with art by Kevin Storrar, includes the novel Time’s Laughingstocks (2013) and Tales From the Internet (2015). Currently he is an adjunct professor at Des Moines Area Community College, an Editorial Assistant in Fiction for The Flexible Persona, and is writing Mole for the Animal Series published by Reaktion Books.

My Goodreads is in constant chaos. I have stories in places including QWERTY and SmokeLong. I'm in the process of revising a novel. I also read fiction for Hunger Mountain.

Right now, somewhere in the multiverse, I'm walking around in a house in the northern woods with a copy of Bullfighting in the pocket of my robe and a mocha in my hand. The house is lit by beeswax candles. Outside, it's always twenty-six degrees and snowing.
