Dr. Kristi Murray Costello, a native of St. Louis, MO, is an Assistant Professor of Writing Studies and the Director of the Writing Program and Writing Center at Arkansas State University. She is the recipient of State University of New York Binghamton’s Newhouse Award for Poetry, two AWP Intro Awards, and an Academy of American Poets Prize. Her poetry and essays can be found in Paddlefish, The Patterson Literary Review, Caduceus, Pennsylvania English, The Connecticut River Review, College English Notes, The Subterranean Quarterly, The Chariton Review, The Flexible Persona, and Big Muddy, among others. In her spare time, she enjoys attending concerts with her husband, Liam, and taking walks with her rescue dogs.
The Flexible Persona was founded in 2013. We are an independent home for emerging and established writers and poets.
